ACP Sheet Cleaning & Maintenance Guidelines

To maintain the durability, warranty, and aesthetic appeal of Pioneer Panels’ ACP Sheets, regular cleaning and maintenance are essential. Though the sheets resist dirt due to their smooth surface, neglect can lead to buildup that affects colour, gloss, and coating integrity.

Key Cleaning Guidelines:

  • Surface Temperature:
    Always clean below 40°C to prevent surface damage.
  • Cleaning Motion:
    Start from the top using horizontal strokes first, followed by vertical strokes
  • Tools:
    Use soft, grit-free pads, squeegees, or lint-free cloths to avoid scratching.
  • Rinse Immediately:
    After cleaning, rinse with clean water and wipe dry with a soft cloth.
  • Cleaning Agents:
    Use mild alkaline solutions or 5–10% IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol).
  • ❌ Avoid harsh solvents like MEK, MIBK, triclene, paint thinners, or acidic/alkaline cleaners.

Recommended Cleaning Frequency:

  • Heavily Industrialized Areas: Twice a year
  • Coastal / Low Rainfall Areas: Once a year
  • Urban Areas: Once a year
  • Rural Areas: Once every two years
  • Custom colours & grades can be produced.
  • Shades may vary from batch to batch.
  • Install panels in the direction of the arrows on the protective film to avoid color differences.
  • To ensure color consistency, order complete quantity for each project at once.
